Deborah D. McAdams has more than 12 years of experience as an editor, reporter, designer and manager. Her primary areas of coverage include television, business and technology. She has contacts throughout the world, including corporate CEOs, farmers, lobbyists, miners, attorneys, entrepreneurs, engineers, TV network presidents and academics.

She’s also the author of “600 words,” a column formerly published on the Breathe Network, and now made available again with updated editions.

She’s lived in the Midwest, the Sierra Nevada, the heart of New York City, inside the D.C. Beltway, and on the Pacific coast of California. Her professional writing ranges from local features to the emergence of public companies and the technical logistics of covering live events for television.

McAdams has run marathons, skydived, sailed on an aircraft carrier, flown gliders, ridden in a LongEZ and operated heavy equipment. She has hiked throughout the Sierra, the Grand Canyon and the Shenandoah; dived off Bermuda, Puerto Plata, Pennecamp and Grand Cayman.

She’s also spent days in solitary contemplation of joy, grief, peace, fear and uncertainty. She believes fulfillment occurs in conscious surrender to every moment, whether difficult, sublime or exhilarating.

There will be more to come. Thanks for dropping by. By all means visit Breathe, sign the guestbook, and do stop in again.
